Updated with every release.

GuifiLab builds the interface; how it works also depends on software, services and devices from others. We cannot stop them from changing. Here you can see, per product, what it works with and what to watch out for before you update anything. Also read article 4 of the terms of service.

  • Whisper speech models and other open-source components (faster-whisper, MLX, ffmpeg, pyannote)
  • Apple macOS
  • Optional, with your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral
  • Optional, with your own token: Hugging Face (speaker detection)

Tested with

  • The Whisper models and components included in the installer of version 4.7.0

Note

  • Cloud AI runs through the provider's API. We do not test every change on their side; it can stop the AI features or change how they work.
  • Only make a major macOS update once it says here that the new version works.

edelkrone control

Depends in part on

  • The official edelkrone SDK (Python)
  • The firmware of your edelkrone devices
  • Apple macOS 13 or newer (including Bluetooth)

Tested with

  • edelkrone SDK 0.1

Note

  • Only update the firmware of your edelkrone devices once it says here that the new firmware works. A firmware update can break the connection and cannot always be rolled back.
  • edelkrone control is not an edelkrone product and is not supported by edelkrone.

  • The platforms change their screen layouts without announcing it. The zones are a guideline.
